I am currently a third-year undergraduate at Oregon State University, but I am studying abroad for five months (July-November) at Lincoln University in Canterbury, New Zealand. I am taking four classes while I am here, two academic classes and two fun classes - Animal Physiology; Plant Science; New Zealand Ecology and Conservation; and Recreation, Sport & Adventure in Outdoor Environments. I plan to take lots of pictures, and on this blog I will be posting periodic updates about my life here at LU!
The title of this blog is "kaewa." It is a Maori word. As a verb, it means to wander or to roam, and as a noun, it means wander, adventurer, or rambler. |
